Abstract
Carbon capture and storage – often referred to as CCS – is a technology that allows us to capture and contain as much as 90% of the carbon dioxide emissions produced from fossil fuel use, thus preventing it from entering the atmosphere. In this article, we’ll discuss how CCS works, potential uses for captured and stored CO2 and some of the problems we must overcome to make it work.
