Abstract
Introduces good practice aspects for managing and providing routine and winter services on the trunk road network. Deals with the following issues, health and safety, managing assets, routine service, traffic management, winter service, occupying the network, managing traffic incidents, contingency planning, providing information for road users, programme planning, scheme development and administration.
