Abstract

Presents a set of case studies of buildings completed after 2000 that demonstrate a range of aspects of sustainable construction and combine this with architectural excellence. Describes a number of design solutions applied to different building types, including workspace, schools and universities, new housing and public buildings. Covers refurbished as well as new buildings and attempts to record feedback on their performance in use. Aimed principally at those involved in procuring buildings.
